IOSH is the Chartered body for health and safety professionals. With more than 40,000 individual members, they are the biggest professional health and safety organisation in the world.
SAFETY SCHEMES IN PROCUREMENT
Safety Management Advisory Services Limited (SMAS) award, a Worksafe Contractor Membership Certificate. Many clients will now only use contractors selected from an approved database who have demonstrated the appropriate level of competence in the Health and Safety management systems and they look to the SSIP logo as reassurance that the assessment meets the stringent criteria set by the CDM Regulations 2007.
THE CONTRACTOR ACCREDITATION SCHEME FOR BUSINESS
SAFEContractor is the fastest growing health and safety accreditation scheme in the UK, with more than 160 major clients and almost 18,000 contractor members. The scheme is now used by many large organisations as a way of obtaining competent contractors.
THE CONTRACTORS HEALTH AND SAFETY
With 520 buyer members and over 44,000 suppliers on its database, CHAS is dedicated to completing health and safety pre-qualification assessments to a nationally recognised and accepted threshold standard.
CONSTRUCTION SKILLS CERTIFICATION SCHEME
CSCS keeps a database of those working in construction that achieve, or can demonstrate they have already attained an agreed level of occupational competence.
With the constantly changing health and safety criteria, Kibworth Fencing employs the services of AHS Health and Safety Ltd to keep all staff members abreast of current legislation and laws. AHS Health and Safety afford us the services of an expert team of qualified consultants who offer both a practicable and achieveable approach to health & safety.
In order to maintain our own unblemished health and safety record, Kibworth Fencing also employs an independent IOSH Health and Safety Inspector (certificate number 50283) and all our staff regularly attend training courses to ensure they maintain their skill levels to the highest standards and in line with all legal requirements.
